This advanced commercial carpet certification is designed for highly experienced installers who are proficient in commercial carpet installation and have experience leading large-scale commercial projects.  Participants must have a minimum of ten (10) years of installation experience and hold current CFI Commercial I (CI) and Commercial II (CII) Certifications.  Participants will demonstrate advanced hands-on commercial installation skills and complete a written exam to evaluate their technical knowledge.  Upon successful completion of both the hands-on and written evaluations, participants will earn the CFI Commercial III (CIII) Certification.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum ten (10) years installation experience.
  • CFI Commercial I Carpet Certification
  • CFI Commercial II Carpet Certification

  • Proper Seam Construction/Hot Melt
  • Demonstrate Ability to Correct Bow, Skew and Pattern Elongation
  • Proper Carpet Tile Installation, Including Balance and Pattern
